Palmetto Lilly Top

Lilly Pulitzer: V-neck top // Target: White Jeans // Target: Sandals

Welcome back to reality after the nice 3 day weekend, I spent mine hanging out by the pool with family and lots of friends. It was really nice to sit back and relax and not worry about the stressors of life. To make life easier I love to have pieces that put me in a better mood and this Lilly Pulitzer top always does the trick. It's one of those shirts that always look good and you feel great in it. It is sold out but I found this one on zappos which is equally as cute!

Workbag Essentials

Hello friends, since internships are starting soon, or have started, or if you are continuing with your work for the summer it's always important to have the workbag essentials with you to have a successful day. These are some small things that I find make my day go by so much easier.

The top three products that I have to have are, the loose powder, the chewy bar, and eos lip balm. I like to keep a cheep powder to use as a touch up everyday and this one by elf cosmetics is only 3.00 and its actually really good quality. I also love the chewy bars which are a perfect little snack to satisfy even a chocolate craving, and the eos lip balms are my favorite because they don't leave my lips overly oily. But I think everything in my bag has a purpose to it.

Let me know what you keep in your workbag!

College Graduation

 My parents and I

Kyle (my boyfriend)

My outfit: Dress: Lilly pulitzer / Shoes: Coach / Bracelet: Mantraband

This past weekend I graduated from community college with an Associates degree in Liberal Arts. I actually graduated in December and have been attending a four-year college this semester, but it was an amazing experience to walk across the stage and celebrate with family. Going to community college was one of the best decisions I ever made, it allowed me to explore my options in my feild of study and also be debt free for the first two years of my college career. Which I would like to thank my parents for allowing me to be debt free, I will be forever gratefull for the opportunities you have given me.

So now for the summer I am beginging a new journey with an internship with a department for New York State. I am filled with excitment for what the next few years hold for me.

To the Most Important Woman In My Life

Since Mothers day is this weekend I thought it would be a good idea to introduce the number one most important person in my life. This is Heidi and she is my superwomen of a mom. My mom is my best friend, we do pretty much anything and everything together, she is my number one confidant, knowing all of my secrets, and knowing me better than I know myself most of the time. My mom is the most caring person you could meet. Whether it's through her work that she does with the children at her job, through raising my siblings and I, or through her bubbly way of looking at life.

The two of us always joke that we must look friendly because wherever we are someone will come up to us and either ask us a question or just strike up a conversation in the aisle of the grocery store, or at the cash register in a clothing store. Maybe it is because we look friendly, or it's because, wherever we are my mom is always trying to make the day more enjoyable, or that my mom's joyous energy is really contagious and it rubs off on everyone she meets.

Growing up my mom was always reasonable with us in her parenting, we pretty much could do whatever we wanted as long as she knew where we were, who was going, etc. She could be stern, but she always had a reason behind why we were getting in trouble or why we couldn't do a certain thing. Now that I am older and can look back I understand her parenting skills and why she did or said some of the things she does, and I thank her for that because through the stern voices, but also the giggles and the laughs she has made me the person that I am and will continue to be. I hope to be half the mom that my mom is with my kids some day.

Happy Mothers Day mom. I love you.

My Go-To Outift

Hollister: Must-have easy t-shirt / Target: White Jeans / Target: Sandals /
Longchamp: Le Pliage / Dogearred: necklace

With the school semester coming to an end, that means that summer is almost here, but it also means that presentations and finals are quickly approaching. A lot of teachers also grade how you present yourself during your presentation, so I like to look presentable, but comfortable at the same time, and this outfit is perfect for that.

This is my go-to outfit for any spring day, it's so casual and light it is my favorite outfit of the season. This shirt makes the outfit, this is the must-have easy t-shirt from Hollister. It is so light and flowy, I have three of them one in black and one with elephants on it, I know I am going to live in them on these warm days.
