A New Day Collection at Target

I love Target clothing because it is such affordable good quality clothing. This is such a great line for basics, they have so many tops that are perfect for layering but also look so cute on their own. This line also has so many different tops that are perfect for spring. These are a few of my favorite tops from the collection:

All of these items work really well for the transition into spring. This spring I need to focus on getting more tops that can go with pants other than jeans. Like this top, I love it paired with the olive green or this top with the light pink pants both are so cute.

These days it's honestly just been way to cold outside to even consider dressing up or think about anything other than not being cold. Thankfully we have had a couple of days that snuck where you walk outside and you don't feel like you have icicles coming out of your eyes. This Saturday was sort of one of those days, Kyle and I went up to Saratoga and checked out Chowderfest. After we ate our weight in chowder we went back home and ran some errands before heading to dinner with some friends.  Overall a good weekend, and sad that it is Monday. 

Turtlenecks are something that I think will always be in, this pattern is currently sold out at JCrew but they have this one which is the same style. I always roll the sleeves up on my sweaters because one, I like the look of it better that way and two, nine times out of ten the sleeves are way too long for my arms. Like I said we went to Chowderfest and this was the perfect outfit for that, but this outfit can be worn to so many different places such as a dress down day for work. Paired with this Mark & Hall tote bag it is perfect for errands, school, or work. 

Weekly Review | Weekend Happenings

Week review: This past week I posted an outfit post about this Teddie sweater from J Crew that everyone needs in their closet. I also posted this post on Valentine’s Day date outfits. I arranged the outfits by prices from more formal to casual.

Weekend Happenings: This weekend I am going to have a pizza and game night and have a much-needed girl night. Then on Saturday Kyle and I are going to chowder fest in Saratoga and engorge ourselves in as much chowder as possible. Then on Sunday my sister, Kara has a cheerleading competition so I'll go and support her there. I also may watch a little more of the football game than just the halftime show (maybe).

Favorite Things on the Internet: I am so excited because my favorite vlogger of all time just opened up her online store 'good to be yesterday' and it is the cutest ever! I am obsessed with this pearl cardigan which unfortunately sold out but is so good for Alex. I am also loving this one shoulder top that is still in stock and so gorgeous.

Favorite Finds:

• I just purchased this bag this past week. I needed a new one for school because the straps on my other one were starting to get loose. I love the shape of this one and it fits so much stuff perfect for school.
• Old Navy clearance is up to 75% off right now and this sweater is only 10$, I bought this sweater for my mom for Christmas it is a perfect cozy sweater for those cold winter days.
