5 Things Friday

This has been quite the week and I am so ready for a relaxing weekend to start, 1:00 can't come fast enough today. This week I contracted bronchitis and it may actually be the worst ever. I completely took the day off from school and work on Wednesday to chill out and rest but I still don't feel my best so this weekend is filled with a ton of movies and ice cream.

1. Waterproof Lash Paradise I am obsessed with this mascara I leaning toward it's a pretty good dupe for the better than sex mascara and it's less than half the price. I don't know if I would get the waterproof one again because it is hard to get off but I don't know if that is just because I am not a fan of waterproof in general. 

2. Halloween owl mug- This is an old mug from a Hallmark store but I love to add small touches of fall and Halloween to my bedroom. So I added a cute succulent to this one and it is the perfect touch of fall!

3. Mini Babybell- This is my newest obsession, I don't know if it's the taste of the fact that the wax packaging is so fun to peel. I love to eat these for lunch with some Triscuits. So delicious! 

4. These are a pair of earrings that I received in my rocksbox and I think they are so fun! I wanted to wear them to a fiesta or a margarita night, that's what they remind me of! 

5. Cold medicine- These products have been my life savors this past week!

Fall is my favorite season for fashion, I love big comfy sweaters and booties. There are so many good items out this season this wishlist is just a small part of things that I saw that I need in my life. Like this sweater how cute are the sleeves?!?!

So to be honest when mules first came back into style I was not the biggest fan. But now they are slowly growing on me like these Kate Spade ones which have the most amazing detailing! These mules would look perfect with these step hem jeans. I love the unique hem on these jeans I think they are so cute!!

I am so ready for fall weather so I can wear sweaters all the time.  This entire past week and week coming up has been hotter in New York than it has all summer. But this sweater from Rosegal is giving me all of the fall vibes and I am loving it. This sweater is one size and it comes in five other colors. Rosegal has a ton of black oversized sweaters. They also have a ton of other cute sweaters like these cold shoulder sweaters and such cute booties!

This upcoming week is going to be so long and I'm already looking forward to the weekend. Happy Monday!

Last Days of Summer

Happy Monday! This weekend was spent mostly on the couch because I did not feel good at all. This weather going from cold to hot cold to hot is killing my sinuses and I contracted an awful cold from my brother. So if I look a little puffy in these photos it's because I literally forced myself to take these pictures and then went right back to the couch when I was done.

This week is going to be so long, school is already so stressful and I had to drop 80$ on a new charger yesterday because mine broke in the middle of a quiz. But thankfully everything seems to be falling back into place and hopefully, this week won't be as stressful as this weekend.

So as I said this past week and this upcoming week in New York is going to be hotter than the entire month of August, but it is still that weird time when it is freezing in the morning and then you're sweating bullets by the afternoon. That's when I love outfits like this for the perfect combination. This top is super lightweight and makes it perfect for those transitional days. Also how cute is this choker?!? I love how simple it is but still really makes a statement, I'm tellin ya this rocksbox subscription is killing the game!

Corduroy Skirt

Skirts are not something that I wear often because I tend to find it hard to find tops to pair them with but I am determined to become an expert in this because I really love the look of skirts. I love this outfit as a transition outfit because these days in New York in the morning it is like 50 degrees and by noon it is 80 degrees. It would be so easy to just throw on a cardigan to warm up this outfit. 

I am drinking a pumpkin spice latte from Dunkin Donuts and it is going to be my obsession this fall. I also love their cold apple cider, it tastes different than original apple cider it tastes more like apple pie but it is so delicious.

Fsjshoes has the best shoes for fall, last year booties were so in and I have a feeling it won't be any different this year. I am loving these burgundy suede peep toe slingback boots I think the tie at the top makes them so unique. Fsjshoes also has amazing flats, like these orange commuting pointed toe flats. I love the heel which is almost a different part of the shoe. I can already picture all of the fall inspired outfits I would pair with these shoes!

                                                                      

Warby Parker's Fall Collection

Warby Parker is a company that sells beautiful eyeglasses and sunglasses. Today they are launching their new 2017 fall collection. This could not have came at a better time for me. I have been pretty much wearing my glasses all summer because I am having issues with being a college students and what the means when it comes to insurance and haven't been able to get an appointment to get new contacts. But what it did make me realize is how much I do love my glasses. I have picked out a few that are my favorites.

This fall the team at Warby Parker has came up with an amazing collection of glasses that is full of colorblocking. They also mixed materials throughout the collection making these eyeglasses such a statement piece to add into your life. My favorites from this collection would have to be the first pair in the photos I love how you can see the hardware through the frames giving it a very modern look.

This collection also has stunning sunglasses which match a pair of eyeglasses. I love these pairs above because I think they would go with any outfit and could be worn in any season.

Favorite Fall Snack: Skinny Pop Popcorn!

This week definitely made it clear that fall is in the air. It has been so chilly that it has been making me think of all things fall especially snacks and drinks because let's be honest I am always thinking about drinks and snacks.

This SkinnyPop popcorn is the best snack for pretty much any season but paired with a Cranberry cinnamon whiskey sour it makes it taste like a little piece of fall in your mouth. This SkinnyPop is the aged white cheddar and is only 47 calories per cup which is so amazing! The first time I tried this SkinnyPop I was pleasantly surprised by the amount flavor it had. It is seriously so delicious. 

For my 21 and over followers this Cranberry cinnamon whiskey sour is my new favorite drink of all time. It is a very sweet tasting drink but the cinnamon after taste gives it the taste of fall which is just delightful. 

SkinnyPop has this amazing chart of all of their popcorn and paired it with an alcoholic beverage and I want to try every single combination. In this post, I did number 3 but I will be trying everyone throughout this fall! Let me know what your favorite fall snack is!

Off the Shoulder Transition Dress

I think that transition months are so hard when it comes to finding something to wear. If you have been a long time reader of the blog then you would know that I complain about this A LOT! New York has the worst weather when it comes to the transition months. The day before I took these photos I had on pants and a sweater and then was sweating while shooting this outfit.

Anyways enough of my complaining, this dress is pretty much amazing. I think this is the perfect pattern for fall and summer. I can't wait to add a jean jacket when it gets colder, I really think that will add this whole look together. AND CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THIS NECKLACE?!?! How cute is this little baby cactus necklace from Kate Spade, I am obsessed with it. They also have this cactus ring that matches and I NEED it.

I hope everyone had an amazing Labor day weekend I took Monday off from blogging to organize my life. I spent the entire day Sunday making curtains (post coming soon) which was harder than I anticipated it to be. Then Monday I spent the day cleaning and hanging around the house which was so nice, but now back into reality.
