Casual Thanksgiving Day Outfit

Outfit: Sweater: Bow-neck sweater | pants: Olive green similar Flats: Scalloped Flats and Similar

I recently got this sweater while in Vermont at the amazing J.Crew Factory store. I love the little touch of the bow, when I fight picked up this sweater I thought the bow belonged in the back but when I tried it on I realized it went in the front. I was thrown off at first but the more I thought about it the more it grew on me.

I can't believe Thanksgiving is next week, this fall season is going by so quickly I can't believe it. Next week my family is going to be headed to my dad's mothers house for dinner and then my aunt's house for dessert, I love seeing my whole family on the holidays it's so hard to get all together these days cause everyone is so busy. And then we go black Friday shopping!!

My family is lucky enough to have two Thanksgiving meals, on Friday my whole family will head up north to my mom's mothers house for another round of dinner and dessert. I remember when we were little and we would go to my mom's mom's house we would yell at the TV to Santa in the parade what we wanted for Christmas.

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Happy Monday my friends, this weekend flew by but I was able to have some downtime and relax which was much needed. But this week is already off to a running start so I'm going to take this time and fantasize about how much food I'm going to eat on turkey day next week and think about which outfit will be best to wear so I can stuff myself.
Outfit: Top: rollneck sweater | Skirt: ruffle wool mini skirt | Shoes: velvet loafer mules | necklace: ribbon tied pearls

This skirt is perfect for the holiday season and paired with these mules is such a statement. I love how bright and loud these shoes are which will dress up any outfit.

I love a more casual outfit with some accessories to dress the outfit up, these heels are perfect for the holiday season and would pair so well with any of these three outfits.

Dress: something navy sweater dress | vest: quilted down vest | booties: suede booties | Bag: flap bag
I have a vest obsession and also a suede bootie obsession and okay maybe I have a sweater dress obsession as well. Needless to say, I love this outfit if I could describe my style this outfit would probably do it justice. This satchel is also so cute and versatile it would go with anything.

Cowl Neck Sweater Outfit

Top: Swoop neck sweater | Jeans: Mid rise jeggings | Booties: Zip booties Bag: Cameron street jenson

This outfit is another one that I wore on our trip to Manchester Vermont over the past weekend. This loft swoop neck sweater is so soft, I also thought paired with my herringbone vest like my sister has on will look so cute. I love sweaters like these that you can do so many different things with and wear it so many different ways.

These boots from Gap factory are also the perfect height for us short girls, they give just enough height without looking ridiculously high. Although these boots are not as comfortable as my mules you may have seen in my last post they are so cute and are the perfect fall bootie.

My Favorite Sweater of the Fall Season

Top: Exposed seam sweater (SIMILAR and SIMILAR) | Jeans: Core high rise skinny | Shoes: Mules | Kate Spade bag: Cedar street

When I say this is my favorite sweater this fall season, I really mean that I've been living in this sweater and haven't taken it off. The style of the mock turtleneck may be my favorite style of sweater this year. I really love that the turtleneck is coming back into style.

This outfit is from my recent trip to Manchester Vermont, we have made this weekend an annual trip with just the girls and we literally have so much fun I'm already looking forward to next year. This outfit was the perfect for shopping all day long. These mules were so comfortable I walked all day in them no problem. Such a fun weekend with my momma, sista, and my Kait.

Thanksgiving Decor Inspo

Nordstrom has so many good pieces this year for Thanksgiving decor I just couldn't help myself. There is nothing better than coming home after a cold and rainy fall day and having the house feeling warm and decorated to remind us why we love this season so much.

I'm loving the Thanksgiving pillow which is such a good reminder as to what this holiday season is really all about. Being around family and being thankful for the things we have in our lives. I'm also loving the metallic grateful sign which is such an elegant touch to your wall. This Nest candle will make your house filled with the scent of fall. I also want to make a simmer pot because I've never done one before, I might do a post on it if it goes well.

This weekend we are having a girls trip in Manchester Vermont and I am so excited I really can't wait to get away becuase school has been so stressful. If you wanna follow along on your trip add me on Instagram @petiteinherpearls we plan to do a lot of shopping and eat delicious food.

All Kinds of Coats

Jackets are my favorite fall necessity, I think I like them so much because they can make such statement and there are so many different kinds of them.

I can remember always loving jackets, I'll never forget this one black and white checkered jacket that I had when I was little. It was a little longer than normal and it was a "fancy" jacket and I thought I was a movie star when I wore it. I think that jacket is what started my love of jackets.

Barbour, trench and puffer jackets are my top choices for jackets this season. The Barbour is more of an everyday jacket whereas the puffer is for the cold more sporty days. The trench or longer styled jackets are for "fancy" days like my black and white jacket was.
