Holiday Outfit Inspiration

A plaid dress is such a classic holiday outfit you can’t go wrong with, I added a belt to this one to give it more of a shape, add a pair of ankle boots and you’ve got a cute outfit for anything holiday related.
Okay so there is a slight theme here with the plaid but what says Christmas like a little bit of plaid?? I love to add a plaid shirt under a sweater add some jeans and another pair of booties and you’ve got a pretty cute outfit!
This last outfit is a little more casual I love this navy skirt paired with this green vest, I actually did a blog post on this outfit last year which you can see here.

To be honest, during the holiday season there are not many times if at all that I have to dress up and get pretty fancy but I know that some people do. So I decided to share a few of the outfits that I would wear throughout the holidays and then some dressier outfits. I love cocktail dresses and really wish I had more reasons to wear them.

Velvet is really in this year, J.Crew is filled with velvet and while browsing through the cocktail dresses on Nordstrom most of them were velvet. I think that dark blue and navy are gorgeous colors for the holidays but I feel like it isn’t associated with it as much but I do think that it still looks festive. Speaking of festive how festive are these Steve Madden heels? I think these are absolutely amazing and I would love a pair of these and wear them any chance I could.

Holiday Outfit Inspiration

Every year I look forward to picking out my outfit for the big family Christmas Eve party at my grandparent's house. Usually, I pick a color like red, maroon, navy, that I want to wear and base the outfit off of that. This year nothing has really jumped out at me so I came up with a few outfits that I am really loving that would work for any holiday gathering.

Suede Holiday Outfit

Top: Luxe crew neck tee | Vest: quilted vest | Skirt: Suede snap front mini | Shoes: Suede booties | Necklace: Elisa necklace
Happy Monday everyone! Today is my only day of classes for the week and then I am on Thanksgiving break. I am really looking forward to having some time to relax and hang out with the family. I plan to wear this outfit to one of my Thanksgiving celebrations becuase this skirt is so comfortable.

Suede is everywhere these days and I love it, this suede skirt from old navy is perfect for the holiday season. This skirt is only 30$ and right now Old Navy is having a sale where they take 40% off at checkout which is such a good deal.

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Happy Monday my friends, this weekend flew by but I was able to have some downtime and relax which was much needed. But this week is already off to a running start so I'm going to take this time and fantasize about how much food I'm going to eat on turkey day next week and think about which outfit will be best to wear so I can stuff myself.
Outfit: Top: rollneck sweater | Skirt: ruffle wool mini skirt | Shoes: velvet loafer mules | necklace: ribbon tied pearls

This skirt is perfect for the holiday season and paired with these mules is such a statement. I love how bright and loud these shoes are which will dress up any outfit.

I love a more casual outfit with some accessories to dress the outfit up, these heels are perfect for the holiday season and would pair so well with any of these three outfits.

Dress: something navy sweater dress | vest: quilted down vest | booties: suede booties | Bag: flap bag
I have a vest obsession and also a suede bootie obsession and okay maybe I have a sweater dress obsession as well. Needless to say, I love this outfit if I could describe my style this outfit would probably do it justice. This satchel is also so cute and versatile it would go with anything.
