I love exploring through downtown saratoga and eating yummy foods and window shopping. The weather was gorgeous so this was the perfect outfit for the day! I even bought a lilly dress while I was there which is soon to come on the blog!

My skin does not do well with the winter with the cold weather, it tends to get really dry and itch much like a lot of other people's this time of year. I have come up with a few products that work really well for me to keep my skin healthy and hydrated. 

My skin is really sensitive to a ton of products so when I find ones I like I tend to stick with those until I come up with enough courage or find one worth trying. One product that tops my list would have to be the Neutragena face wash, this was recommend by my dermatologist and it has been my go to for a couple of years now. Another face product I love it the hey honey peel off face mask. It leaves your skin soft and rejuvenate and it's a peel off and I think those are so fun! My favorite product to get rid of those annoying pop up pimples is the clean and clear spot treatment. This is my holy grail product I have used this product for years and I don't think I'll ever get over it. 

My legs will get so itchy in the winter that it keeps me up at night, so to help reduce the pain i use a couple products in the shower to prep my skin for bed. The first product is the olay body wash, this body wash is so moisturizing and leaves your skin feeling so soft, and it smells so good which is a bonus. The second product I use is the jergens  wet skin moisturizer, once you are all done with your shower and before you dry your body off you apply this lotion all over your body and it rubs right in, doesn't leave you hands feeling greasy and also smells delicious. And if all of that isn't moisturizing enough I also love the Avenno daily moisturizing lotion I keep this on my bedside table for when my skin starts to act up and it does wonders.

Happy Monday everyone! I hope everyone is having a good day off... unfortunately I am trying to keep my eyes open at school right now at the moment. On days like today when all I want to do is crawl up in bed, outfits like this one make my days a little easier. 

These Lilly Pulitzer leggings are my new obsession, these were my pick during the Lilly sale in January and I am so pleased with them. They were definitely worth the money! Fun yoga pants make me want to work out, and any little bit of motivation works. But these are great to go to school in or lounge around in as well.

Happy Thursday my loves! I am so excited about today's post! Can we please talk about how cute this shirt is?! I am totally in love with the buttons down the back and the tight neckline. I love shirts that look cute without trying to put in any effort. 

This is the outfit I'm wearing out to dinner with Kyle on Valentine's Day to dinner and maybe a movie (or a frat party... It's college so who knows lol) I hope everyone has a great Valentine's Day or galentines day!

Valentines day is literally right around the corner and I'm so excited because i get to see Kyle this weekend and we are having a date night! I think valentines day is so fun cause its an excuse to dress up and go out to dinner for the weekend.

I love this simple black dress with the small touches of red, this dress was under 40$ which is also a bonus. This classic look of the red pea coat draped over the shoulders is one of my favorite looks. The perfect outfit for date night with my man!

Valentines day cards

I love Hallmark cards especially at valentines day, everything is pink and red and love is in the air. I love the act of giving a little piece of love to someone you care about the most. Hallmark really helps you get what you want to say out there in some of the most romantic ways. (I could be partial to hallmark since I worked there for three years)

Another alternative is to make a homemade card. Kyle and I always make cards for every occasion that you would give a card. Which is ironic because I worked in a card store but that is besides the point. Homemade cards are so cute because its so funny to see how kyle shows his emotion and when he writes or how he decorates his cards, its a really meaning full thing to me and him. 

All of these cards don't have to be for a lover than can be for friends too! I spent many valenitnes day's alone and had so much fun making valentines cards for all my friends!
