Back To School

Hey guys! So it is that time of the year again, the time that we all dread but are also kinda excited about because you just bought new pens. I am talking about back to school guys! So I have compiled all the topics about back to school that I want to talk about into one post so we don't have to dwell on it (or at least I don't have to lol).

School supplies:

So for school supplies, I actually do not use that much stuff at all. This semester along with most other semesters I am taking 5 courses. I found for myself that one 5 subject notebook works the best for me, I hate trying to keep track of 5 different notebooks and then forget one it's just annoying. This also goes for my folder, these days a lot of this are electronic so I typically don't even have that much paper to put into my folder. My favorite supplies that I have would have to be my colored pens which go along with my Lilly planner. I color code only the monthly calendars in the beginning of the month and I feel ridiculous saying this it is my favorite hobby.

See what was in my backpack last year here!

School essentials:

These are just a couple of items that I have found to be my essentials for going to school. These items are mostly related to the colder months because unfortunately, it will be freezing before we all know it, well at least in New York it will be. I have been loving grey Nike sneakers lately, I think I like them so much because they go with everything. I have to say with September being only 1 day away I am so excited for fall now, and my favorite fall item is this Freeport Field Jacket from L.L. Bean. I have worn this coat so many times you can see it here. Saying I am obsessed with this jacket is an understatement I wear a small and it is big enough that I wear a thing north face fleece under it when it gets really cold.

Advice:
A few words of advice I have for college students, or just students in general:
1.) If a teacher/ professor gives a page maximum, don't go over the requirement because you think           they will look at it as you tried really hard! Words from a professor I once had: "I have a life               too"
2.) Get involved. This was something that I really struggled with while attending community                   college because it was so easy to get caught up in the go to school go home cycle. But I really             don't mean to sound like that great aunt at a Christmas party saying that joining the cats of                   America (I made that club up but I would totally join it if it was real) because you will make               tons of friends. But you really should try to get involved.
3.) Have fun and that is pretty much it. Go out meet new people and just have a good time!

Good luck at school this year everyone!

  3. I'm not in school anymore, but I kind of miss back to school shopping?? I used a Lilly planner for my senior year last year and I absolutely loved it. It's definitely well-organized, and I loved using the stickers to make events stand out!
