Weekly Review: Yesterday was my mom's birthday and I made this raspberry cake for her which was filled with a raspberry sauce and lined with fresh raspberries. I don't bake a lot but I always love it when I do. This week I posted this post about what I did this weekend with my mom to celebrate her birthday.

Weekend Happenings: Tonight I am celebrating another birthday (October is the month of birthdays) with my best friend. We are planning to make homemade pizzas and have frozen strawberry daiquiris. Then Saturday dinner with some more friends and other than that I am hoping to have a chill relaxing weekend.

Things Happening:
If you don't know I am from upstate New York by the Albany area, this past weekend this region received some news that shook the entire capital region. On Saturday the deadliest transportation accident since 2009 happened very close to home. On Saturday a group of people were on their way to a birthday celebration in Cooperstown when the limo crashed on the way killing all 18 people inside and 2 bystanders. This tragic event has been consuming my mind thinking of all of the innocent people and their families. I have decided to add a couple of links to places that you could donate if you would like.
