5 Things
Evian Facial Spray: I literally have not stopped this summer which I am not complaining about but my face tends to from the sunscreen, sweating, reapplication of makeup, getting smushed by tiny children, the list goes on. But Evian facial spray helps to wash that all away by removing damaging substances and keeping you hydrated on the hottest of days.
Califa Farms XXEspresso Cold Brew: I love Iced coffee in the mornings to bring to work with me but I was so tired of just pouring coffee over ice and having the same taste every day. So I decided to try a cold brew and I picked this one up from The Fresh Market and it is sooooo good!
Roller Lash: I received a sample of Roller Lash in my Ipsy bag this month and forgot how much I loved it until I was reminded of it again. That's one of the reasons I love my Ipsy subscription because it introduced new products and can make you fall back in love with old ones.
Secret Obsession: I watched this Netflix original last week and I honestly have no idea how I feel about it. I don't wanna give any spoilers away but I will say I still have a lot of unanswered questions. It's a great suspenseful movie and I love Brenda Song who was amazing in it.
Target bathing suit: This bathing suit is actually only the second one I have gotten this year which I think is pretty good for me considering how much I love bathing suits. I really wanted a one-shoulder one this year. When I went into target I was fully in the mindset to get a black one-shoulder but then I found this one and completely changed my mind.

Sandal Picks Under $50
Selena Naked Block Heel | Jenny Slide Sandal | Knot Slide Sandal | Milliana Sling Back Heel | Easy Summer Slides | Wendi's Closed Toe Heels | Georgica Jelly | Sidestep Sandal
I personally think that the best part of the start of summer is that we can now officially break out our sandals. I love shoes and think they can be the cutest accessory but there is literally nothing worse than shoving your foot in an uncomfortable boot or shoe. There is nothing I love more than the freeing feeling of a sandal and especially a cute one!
So a lot of these sandals I have and love but a few like these knot slide sandals are so cute and at the top of my wishlist. I can't believe they are from Abercrombie, as I was searching for sandals I stumbled upon Abercrombie and all the middle school and early high school years came flashing back to me, but they actually have really cute stuff!
The first Sandal I have are these Selena Naked Block Heels which are literally the most perfect sandal for so many different occasions. I feel like every summer I search for the perfect sandal to wear with dresses that aren't going to make me feel like I'm breaking my ankles every time I'm walking. Well, I have finally found them! These Target sandals are so comfortable, the straps are super thin so it does not feel like you are wearing anything. The Milliana Slingback sandal is also perfect for summer, I love to wear them with white jeans to dress them up.
I also love love love the Georgica Sandals, I don't have the jelly ones but for $40 I may have to pick myself up a pair. They are such the perfect sandal for everyday wear as you can see from the picture above mine are pretty worn out. The summer slides from J.Crew factory are also such a good sandal for every day and come in so many colors including gingham which are so cute!

Neutrogena's New Hydro Boost Line!
Today I worked with Neutrogena to bring you this post. I have always loved Neutrogena but I think I truly fell in love with the company when my dermatologist told me that I really shouldn't use any other products on my skin besides Neutrogena. Today I am talking about some products from their new line called hydro boost. This line could not have come at a better time because I feel as though my skin is dry and rough feeling. This new line is all about hydrating the skin and keeping it looking refreshed and beautiful.
Being in the sun and at the lake is my favorite part of summer but not my skins, that’s why the Hydro Boost water gel lotion SPF 50 is a life saver. This sunscreen is not greasy and has a water-light feel. I talk all the time on my blog about how sensitive my skin is and this sunscreen did not irritate my skin at all.
The next product that I received was the Hydro Boost Water Gel, which quenches and keeps skin looking hydrated all day long. I really enjoyed using this product after cleansing my face with the Hydro Boost Hydrating Cleansing Lotion. The two products combined have now been incorporated perfectly into my nightly routine. A few days before using these products I had a patch of dry skin on my cheek which has completely gone away after using the Hydro Boost products.
I also received the Hydro Boost Plumping Mascara which hydrates the lashes and helps brittle lashes become healthier again. This summer I have been using a lot of water proof mascara which destroys my eyelashes. This mascara helps to heal the damage from the water proof mascara.
The entire Hydro Boost line is award-winning and essential to your daily routine! The entire line helps to rejuvenate and hydrate your skin leaving it looking healthy and glowing. This may be Neutrogena's best line yet!
Thanks to Brandbacker and Neutrogena for making this post happen!

My Favorite Healthy Snack
I try to eat as healthy as I can but sometimes I want a quick snack or even a small sweet treat while dieting this can be a hard task to do. I have recently found protein balls on Pinterest and decided to give them a try, and thank goodness I did because I am OBSESSED. Today I am sharing my favorites which are confetti protein balls. I love these for a mid-morning snack or a late night treat, you have to be careful as a late night snack because they do have protein powder in them.
These protein balls contain:
- 2 scoops of vanilla protein powder
- 1/4 cup of cashew butter
- 1 cup of oat flour
- 1/4 honey
- 2tsp vanilla
- 2 tbsp milk (may need a little more)
- 2 tbsp rainbow sprinkles
One hack for these balls is if you don't have oat flour, what I did was bought oats and ground them up very finely in our ninja bullet until it was a flour consistency. Another hack is that the recipe called for agave nectar but I only had honey and it works just the same.
After you mix all of the ingredients together grab some of the mixtures and roll into small balls this mixture should make about 15 balls.
Another great thing about these protein balls is that they are only 2 points on weight watchers.

Summer Skin Care with MD Complete!
If you are a long time reader of my blog then you know that acne is something that I have struggled with for awhile and there are many products that I can't use because my skin is so sensitive. With that being said I have found this line by MD Complete by Dr. Brian Zelickson which is a three-step treatment to help with acne. MD Complete values an overall beautiful and healthy complexion to be left behind after using their products.
After using these products I noticed an immediate difference in my skin. As I said before my skin is very sensitive to certain products and benzoyl peroxide being one. Step two of this process is an acne breakout treatment which is made of benzoyl peroxide but MD Complete gave instructions that if you have sensitive skin to leave it on for 15 minutes and then repeat step one which is a cleanser. After step one and two have been completed step three is last which is a citrus-c healthy complexion infused with retinol and vitamin C which is meant to correct dark marks and refines the texture of the skin. All of these products make up the perfect skincare routine.
This skin care regime also includes healthy skin probiotics which can only be found at Mdcomplete.com, these probiotics help to reduce stress which then helps to receive healthier looking skin. Stress affects the body in many places and I know for me it really affects my skin, these probiotics help to maintain the skin during stressful times. To be honest I was a little hesitant about this product but once I tried it I loved it. The taste reminded me almost of the Arnold Palmer drink and did not leave a weird aftertaste in my mouth, I was very impressed.
You can use my code http://prz.io/3DlBxmCe to receive 15% off your first purchase and free shipping for all orders over 35$ or more. If you use this code you will also be among the first to receive MD completes brand new Healthy Complexion Booster as a free gift!!

Sisters First Book Review
The biggest reason and mainly the only reason I decided to read this book is because of my obsession with Jenna on the today show, I just love the bubbly attitude and real personality that she brings to the morning show. Little did I know that after reading this book I would also have a strong love and admiration of her sister Barbra.
Through this book, the reader hears both perspectives of Jenna's and Barbra's about living their lives in the spotlight of first their grandfather as president and then not too long after their father's presidency. One of my favorite parts of this book was when they both talked about their summer's spent in Maine. This was fun to read about for me because my family and I just recently took a trip to Maine and went to a lookout to view walker's point which is the home the Bush family spends many if not all summers.
As the book goes on I learned many things about the Bush family that I never knew (*SPOILER COMING*) such as Laura Bush's struggle with fertility and how she and George were all set up to adopt a baby until they found out they were pregnant with the twins. Or how hard it was for Jenna and Barbra in college having secret service following them around. Throughout the entire book the sisters share their joys of growing up with their wonderful parent's and grandparents and the lessons they learned along the way.
This book left me wanting to run and hug my sister and was a nice reminder that family is everything.

Ruffle Dress
The ruffle trend on dresses is big this year and I am completely on board with it. This Ruffle dress from JCrew is going to be my staple for the summer. I love a dress that fits well and can be worn to so many different events and places.
I actually just wore this dress to my preschool's graduation ceremony and then immediately jumped in the car for a four-hour road trip to Maine (You can read all about our trip in this post here). It was a long day and I was comfortable in this dress the entire time.
The ties on the sleeves are adjustable when I first tried this on the sleeves were a little tight but after I readjusted them they were perfect. This dress also comes in a variety of other patterns and colors which are also so cute! Being under 40$ it is the perfect summer dress. At the preschool graduation, one of the mom's commented on this dress saying how summery it looked.

Summer Pj Sets
Is it weird if I say that I that I sleep better when my pajamas are cute? This is sort of true for me because sometimes when I can't sleep if I change my top then all of a sudden I get ten times more comfortable (is that weird?).

Treats Your Dogs Will Love
I'm not sure if I've ever introduced my dogs on my blog, I know I've mentioned them briefly but they've never really been introduced. Maris is the cream colored pup and she is named after the famous Yankee baseball player Rodger Maris. Forty is the black and white pup and she is named forty because she was my mom's fortieth birthday present. Maris is the younger pup and she acts like the annoying younger sister. Forty likes to chill out and relax and Maris is always annoying her to play. It's pretty funny to watch them interact.
I love my pups more than anything and want them to stay happy and healthy. Forty has really bad hips and can't walk up the stairs easily anymore. The mobility bites have been helping her so much that she can go up the stairs easier than before.
I also got the salmon oil which you pump into their food to help their skin and coat. The omega bites also help with dogs skin and coat. Forty and Maris are both Havanese dogs and they are hypoallergenic so these products make their fur so shiny and soft.

Five Favorite Things Currently
I know that this outfit is going to be my go-to summer outfit this year. It is so cute and casual and the boardwalk shorts from JCrew are so comfortable and so cute.
My Lilly wine glasses are my favorite to drink out of in the summer time (and any other time).
My aloe plant. I love this aloe plant so much and it is getting so big that I may have to repot it.
I am obsessed with this new song called sway by Danielle Bradberry.
Tassel earrings, I posted these on Wednesday with my blue ruffled top. These earrings really made the whole outfit tie together.
