Dreaming of Spring | My Wishlist

Today all of the school in my area closed due to a large amount of snow we are supposed to receive today and I can honestly say I am soooo over the winter. It makes me so jealous to see all of these bloggers who live in warmer climates I live vicariously through them. So, on this snow day to make myself feel better I have compiled a small list of all the items that are on my wishlist for the upcoming spring season.

Tops:
There are so many cute tops that are available for this spring season, this off the shoulder top with the lemon detailing is so cute and gives off such a spring vibe. I have a thing for off the shoulder tops as you can tell through just this list. Both of these tops from Francesca's have such beautiful detailing on them. I'm also in love with this oversized tunic, which is a little pricey but I can see getting so much use out of this that I think it would be a good investment.

Accessories:
How cute is this Kate Spade bag from their new spring line?! The whole line just screams out spring vibes, they even have a bag that looks like a picnic basket, I mean how cute?! I also added these aviator sunglasses to my wishlist, because I have been wanting ray ban ones but I feel like I'm not an aviator person so I don't want to spend tons of money when these rose gold ones from Target for 17$ are just as cute.

Shoes:
I feel ashamed because I may have said how ugly I thought mules were awhile back and now I own way too many pairs of mules. These pink mules from Target will be the next pair to add to my collection. I also found these booties, which are exactly what I have been looking for, I think these are the perfect transition from winter to spring shoe and they look so cute with so many outfits. These are perfect to wear with a dress but also with white jeans and this top.

If I didn't want spring to come soon I definitely want spring to come now after going through all these items.

Grey Turtleneck Sweater

Jacket: Gap (Similar and Similar) | Turtleneck: JCrew (very similar) | Jeans: Banana Republic |
Boots: Target | Tote: Mark & Hall

These days it's honestly just been way to cold outside to even consider dressing up or think about anything other than not being cold. Thankfully we have had a couple of days that snuck where you walk outside and you don't feel like you have icicles coming out of your eyes. This Saturday was sort of one of those days, Kyle and I went up to Saratoga and checked out Chowderfest. After we ate our weight in chowder we went back home and ran some errands before heading to dinner with some friends.  Overall a good weekend, and sad that it is Monday.

Turtlenecks are something that I think will always be in, this pattern is currently sold out at JCrew but they have this one which is the same style. I always roll the sleeves up on my sweaters because one, I like the look of it better that way and two, nine times out of ten the sleeves are way too long for my arms. Like I said we went to Chowderfest and this was the perfect outfit for that, but this outfit can be worn to so many different places such as a dress down day for work. Paired with this Mark & Hall tote bag it is perfect for errands, school, or work.

Suede Holiday Outfit

Top: Luxe crew neck tee | Vest: quilted vest | Skirt: Suede snap front mini | Shoes: Suede booties | Necklace: Elisa necklace
Happy Monday everyone! Today is my only day of classes for the week and then I am on Thanksgiving break. I am really looking forward to having some time to relax and hang out with the family. I plan to wear this outfit to one of my Thanksgiving celebrations becuase this skirt is so comfortable.

Suede is everywhere these days and I love it, this suede skirt from old navy is perfect for the holiday season. This skirt is only 30$ and right now Old Navy is having a sale where they take 40% off at checkout which is such a good deal.

Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas

Happy Monday my friends, this weekend flew by but I was able to have some downtime and relax which was much needed. But this week is already off to a running start so I'm going to take this time and fantasize about how much food I'm going to eat on turkey day next week and think about which outfit will be best to wear so I can stuff myself.
Outfit: Top: rollneck sweater | Skirt: ruffle wool mini skirt | Shoes: velvet loafer mules | necklace: ribbon tied pearls

This skirt is perfect for the holiday season and paired with these mules is such a statement. I love how bright and loud these shoes are which will dress up any outfit.

I love a more casual outfit with some accessories to dress the outfit up, these heels are perfect for the holiday season and would pair so well with any of these three outfits.

Dress: something navy sweater dress | vest: quilted down vest | booties: suede booties | Bag: flap bag
I have a vest obsession and also a suede bootie obsession and okay maybe I have a sweater dress obsession as well. Needless to say, I love this outfit if I could describe my style this outfit would probably do it justice. This satchel is also so cute and versatile it would go with anything.

Cowl Neck Sweater Outfit

Top: Swoop neck sweater | Jeans: Mid rise jeggings | Booties: Zip booties Bag: Cameron street jenson

This outfit is another one that I wore on our trip to Manchester Vermont over the past weekend. This loft swoop neck sweater is so soft, I also thought paired with my herringbone vest like my sister has on will look so cute. I love sweaters like these that you can do so many different things with and wear it so many different ways.

These boots from Gap factory are also the perfect height for us short girls, they give just enough height without looking ridiculously high. Although these boots are not as comfortable as my mules you may have seen in my last post they are so cute and are the perfect fall bootie.

Navy Everything

This is the definition of the perfect chunky fall sweater and it is Navy which makes it even better. I know some people don't like navy tops with dark jeans but I am a true lover of the two colors together.

Outfit: Cold shoulder sweater: Rosegal (similar) | Jeans: Nordstrom (similar) | booties: old (similar) Necklace: Charming Charlies | Earrings: Kendra Scott
I have a severe obsession with navy clothing, my entire closet is almost filled with navy clothing items. I recently saw this blog post about a closet tag where you go through your closet and show things like your favorite items and what you can't let go of. I think I'm going to do it this winter!

Okay tangent over, back to this navy outfit, I am really into the cold shoulder trend right now I think it is such a good look for anyone and in like so many styles. This rosegal sweater is unfortunately sold out but there are others like this!

I am also loving these Kendra Scott earrings, they're on the smaller size which I like because they aren't over the top but are still petite and beautiful.

Fall Wishlist

Cardigan | Shaft bootie | Plaid poncho | Gucci camera bag | Ripped step skinny jeans | Patagonia fleece vest | Tie cuff pullover sweater |  wool floppy hat | Cavell loafer mule

Fall is my favorite season for fashion, I love big comfy sweaters and booties. There are so many good items out this season this wishlist is just a small part of things that I saw that I need in my life. Like this sweater how cute are the sleeves?!?!

So to be honest when mules first came back into style I was not the biggest fan. But now they are slowly growing on me like these Kate Spade ones which have the most amazing detailing! These mules would look perfect with these step hem jeans. I love the unique hem on these jeans I think they are so cute!!

Corduroy Skirt

Skirts are not something that I wear often because I tend to find it hard to find tops to pair them with but I am determined to become an expert in this because I really love the look of skirts. I love this outfit as a transition outfit because these days in New York in the morning it is like 50 degrees and by noon it is 80 degrees. It would be so easy to just throw on a cardigan to warm up this outfit.

I am drinking a pumpkin spice latte from Dunkin Donuts and it is going to be my obsession this fall. I also love their cold apple cider, it tastes different than original apple cider it tastes more like apple pie but it is so delicious.

Favorite Fall Shoes | FSJshoes

One of my favorite parts of fall is the shoes, as much as I love sandals and wedges in the summer time I equally love booties and flats if not more. FSJshoes has a ton of vintage shoes that are perfect for fall.

Fsjshoes has the best shoes for fall, last year booties were so in and I have a feeling it won't be any different this year. I am loving these burgundy suede peep toe slingback boots I think the tie at the top makes them so unique. Fsjshoes also has amazing flats, like these orange commuting pointed toe flats. I love the heel which is almost a different part of the shoe. I can already picture all of the fall inspired outfits I would pair with these shoes!

September Favorites

I can not believe how fast September went and that it is already October tomorrow! A lot happened in the month of September, I started another semester of college, I started a new job as a preschool teacher, and fall began this month! With a ton of different things happening within this month, my monthly favorites are a big mish-mosh of randomness. But I think that this is a good thing because these are honestly my favorite things of the month!

With school starting up this month I have been loving these colorful pens to use in my planner as a way to keep organized, and it's a fun way to remember things. I also always keep an umbrella with me, in upstate New York the weather can be winter in the morning and mid-summer in the afternoon, so you never know what could happen throughout the day and I like to stay prepared so I have been loving this Vera Bradley one!

With fall starting this month I have been diving into fall accessories and fall home decor and I have been obsessed with these J. Crew factory booties. I love the suede material and the light color will go with any outfit! And let's please take a moment to appreciate fall home decor, now I haven't gotten much but I would seriously burn fall candles all year round if it didn't annoy my family (lol).

Now ladies, I do have a nonmonthly favorite that unfortunately comes every month, I'm taking about  my "friend", my "aunt flow", my PERIOD. I know we all hate this time of the month, and for me it's especially hard due to my horrendous cramps that come along each month. But thankfully there are products that can help this to become a monthly favorite and that is the period pack, which is a monthly subscription that is coming soon to help to prepare yourself and make the week of your period a little easier check it out here at period-pack.com and sign up for emails to be notified when the boxes come out!

Don't forget to check out period-pack.com and let me know what your September favorites are!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Favorite Fall Booties

I have to say that my biggest fall obsession may be booties. I think that it's because my legs are so short that riding boots can sometimes make me look shorter than I already am. But lucky for me booties are in just as much (maybe even more!) this year than they were last year. Booties can range is so many different prices I just bought the Sawyer suede boot from J crew factory over the weekend and I could not be more excited to wear them! I love the look of the cut outs on the side of the boots it gives it such a unique look, I'm so excited to see where the fall brings me in the shoe department!
